Today is the National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. Events around the Alaska, Hawaii, and the states are taking place to bring about awareness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic among American Indians, Alaskan Natives, and Native Hawaiians. Check with your local Native health center or HIV/AIDS organization in your area to find events to attend.
