**Please post and distribute** NativeOUT is partnering with the Native American Community Academy's GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) to gather coming out stories of LGBTQ/Two-Spirit Natives. These stories will be published in the Native American Community Academy's GSA newsletter and NativeOUT's website. Persons of all ages are welcome to submit. Your stories can help Native LGBTQ/Two-Spirit youth and adults working through the "coming out" process. Inspire them with your story! Criteria for submission:
- Your name.
- Your City (or geographical area) and State or Country (if outside the US).
- Email address (will not be displayed).
- Your tribal or band affiliation.
- Stories should be no longer than 1 page.
- A picture of you (desired, but optional).
- Tell us if you want your full name, first name only, or an alias shown in the photo credit.
Since your story could be posted on a nonprofit website and a school publication, no sexually graphic content will be accepted. Any submissions can potentially be published, but we do not guarantee they will be published. Your writing doesn't have to be perfect. We'll work with you during the editing process. Please send your story to
